Anyway, this post is about Tea Lane, a Taiwanese cafe with an interesting dessert called The One and Only Waffle. It's basically a waffle divided into bite-sized pieces that can be eaten easily, with chocolate syrup, ice cream and fruits. What I like is the chocolate syrup is not too sweet and the ice cream provides a nice balance. It's yummy for me but my wife think it doesn't have the "burnt" taste needed for a waffle.
Regular milk tea is made with brown sugar so it's more like brown sugar milk tea in other places. Pretty good.
Tea Lane has been open for a while but not many seems to know about it. It's in a plaza with a huge parking lot so it's actually very convenient if you happen to be in Rowland Heights. I like it and will go back to try their lunch dishes and grilled stuff (they have a separate kitchen just for that) for sure.
